Summer, winter, or yearlong use?

The division into summer, winter and yearlong use is more or less a technical recommendation. We only use well-proved material of the same characteristics, but different strength or closeness of the weave for production. Chemical composition of the materials we use is always constant.
The thicker the filament, the longer the melt time is and it can be used when the water is warmer. This rule does not necessarily have to apply only in summer. Dissolution comes in any case, but it is essential that it does not occur before the bait reaches the bottom. We have verified that the length of melt time after carrying it to the required place does not influence the success of angling at all.

The mesh comes apart and its content pours out within half a minute up to 20 minutes, according to the temperature of the surrounding water. If the temperature of water is under 5˚C, the melting-down of the mesh is already very slow. If you use unsuitable (cheap) material, the mesh does not dissolve at all. At the end of the day you may take out from water undissolved mesh with the bait ...

The speed of dissolving is affected by several factors, the main ones being water temperature at the bottom, water flow, fish activity, the quantity of bait in the stocking and the way it is rammed. The rate at which PVA dissolves falls markedly with the falling water temperature. There is also a difference in the PVA melt time between standing water and the river.
